Our custom Education and Training efforts are designed to equip our portfolio business leaders with the tools needed to drive growth in their respective organization. Frequently, small company management teams can be insular and lack access to leadership development. Professionalizing and improving leadership are key elements to multiple arbitrage in this space. Accordingly, Plexus has created the Plexus Leadership Institute (PLI) which provides leadership development and tools to enhance and measure company operating level and employee attachment level. Additionally, we partnered with our trade organization to develop the SBIA Next Level Seminar. This is a 4-day course held at Ohio State’s Fisher School of Business in MBA-like setting designed exclusively for lower middle market CEO’s who meet with peers from across the country to sharpen their skills and make an even bigger impact on their businesses. Finally, we have an annual CEO conference where typically, 20-30 of our portfolio companies attend to learn and share best practices.
